Basketball Game Preview: Gladewater Bears vs. Sabine Cardinals

The Gladewater Bears will take on the Sabine Cardinals at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Gladewater is looking for their season's first victory.

Gladewater came up into this matchup off a tough 72-point defeat on Tuesday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of White Oak by a score of 61-59 on Friday.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Sabine challenged Arp on Friday. Sabine took down Arp 76-60. The win was some much needed relief for the Cardinals as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Sabine's victory bumped their record up to 9-17. As for Gladewater, their loss dropped their record down to 0-21.

Gladewater took a serious blow against Sabine in their previous matchup back in January, falling 69-34. Can Gladewater avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
