Soccer Recap: Bunker Hill Takes a Loss

The matchup between Bunker Hill and Hickory on Tuesday hardly resembled the 2-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Bears came up short against the Red Tornadoes, falling 10-1. Bunker Hill haven't had much luck with Hickory recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Bunker Hill's goal came courtesy of Axel Chavez, who's now up to eight this season.

Bunker Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9-1. As for Hickory, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-2-3.

Bunker Hill didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 7-0 win against Maiden on the 16th. As for Hickory, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against Newton-Conover on the 16th.
