After a string of five wins, Kingston's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Colbert Leopards. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Redskins couldn't push the score so high this time.

Jaksyn Martin made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one triple and one run. That triple was his first of the season.

Kingston's loss dropped their record down to 13-8. As for Colbert, the victory was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-6.

Coming up, Colbert will take on Konawa at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Kingston will be paying especially close attention to the Leopards' match: after the Leopards face off against the Tigers, they'll take on Kingston again at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
