Softball Recap: Sparks Railroaders vs. Wooster Colts
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against South Tahoe, Sparks was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Wooster Colts with a sharp 19-4 win. The Railroaders haven't had any issues with the Colts recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.
Bailey Hunden was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She struck out six batters over 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring four runs and stealing nine bases while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
