On Friday, in a tight matchup that could have gone either way, the Cornerstone Christian Academy Crusaders made off with a 31-30 victory over the Tabernacle Christian Rams. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Crusaders.

Cornerstone Christian Academy found their leader in sophomore Chloe Clanton, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten boards. Clanton is becoming a predictor of Cornerstone Christian Academy's success: when she posts at least ten rebounds the team is undefeated (and 1-4 when she doesn't). The team also got some help courtesy of Adell Threats, who posted five points along with 12 boards and three blocks.

Tabernacle Christian's loss came despite strong showings from Emily Laney and Morgan Kiker. Laney put up six points, while Kiker scored six points.

The win got Cornerstone Christian Academy back to even at 4-4. As for Tabernacle Christian, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season.

Cornerstone Christian Academy has already played their next contest, a 45-20 victory against Woodlawn on the 27th. As for Tabernacle Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 44-19 win against Shining Light Baptist Academy on the 24th.
