Despite the loss, Trinity Christian saw an underclassman step up: sophomore William Dooley threw for 401 yards and five TDs. Dooley is crushing it when it comes to passing touchdowns: he's passed for at least three every time he's taken the field this season. Trinity Christian's leading receiver Reid House was Dooley's top target yet again, picking up 200 receiving yards and one score.

Meanwhile, Macon-East Montgomery Academy strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They claimed a resounding 61-6 victory over Snook Christian Academy. With the Knights ahead 47-6 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

Macon-East Montgomery Academy found their leader in sophomore Brandon Fitch, who threw for 193 yards and three touchdowns while completing 77.8% of his passes, and also rushed for 57 yards and one TD. Fitch also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making five total tackles and defending one pass.

One reason for the win was Macon-East Montgomery Academy's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for five sacks. Snook Christian Academy's QB won't forget Elliot Fitch anytime soon given he sacked him three times.

Macon-East Montgomery Academy's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Trinity Christian, they now have a losing record of 2-3.
