Milby came out on top against Sharpstown on Friday thanks in part to Sophia Fernandez's efforts. Fernandez scored three runs while going 1-for-3, which was good enough to set a new career-high in runs.

Coming up, Fernandez and Milby will be playing in front of their home fans against Galena Park at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Buffs haven't beaten the Yellowjackets recently, having gone 0-6 since March of 2022.
