Softball Recap: Forest Takes a Loss

Family Community Christian hit Forest with a 11-run third inning on Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Bulldogs might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 15-0 to Family Community Christian, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Bulldogs have struggled against Family Community Christian recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Forest's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Family Community Christian, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Forest will square off against Downsville at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Family Community Christian, they will take on Bastrop at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
