Soccer Game Preview: Perry vs. New Hampstead

The Perry Panthers will face off against the New Hampstead Phoenix at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Perry is likely headed into the match with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Wayne County on Thursday. The Panthers fell just short of the Yellow Jackets by a score of 1-0.

Meanwhile, New Hampstead didn't have quite enough to beat Jenkins on Thursday and fell 2-1.

New Hampstead's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Perry, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.

Perry got the 'W' when the teams last played back in March of 2025 against New Hampstead by a conclusive 7-0 score. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Phoenix have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
