For the second straight game, Newton Falls will face off against Chaney. The Tigers will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on the Cowboys at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.

Newton Falls is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They were the clear victors by a 19-6 margin over Chaney on Thursday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Tigers needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.

Kylee Lance was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 11 batters over six innings while giving up just two earned (and four unearned) runs off four hits. Lance was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and one double. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high.

In other batting news, Newton Falls let Abby Wolford and Kirra Howard run wild.
