Volleyball Recap: Greenwood Comes Up Short

Greenwood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rib Lake Redmen. If the Indians were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Redmen when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Greenwood's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Rib Lake, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 9-0.

Looking ahead, Greenwood will be playing in front of their home fans against Port Edwards at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Rib Lake, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Flambeau on the 2nd.
