Softball Game Preview: J.P. McCaskey Tornados vs. Reading Red KNights

The J.P. McCaskey Tornados will head out to face off against the Reading Red KNights at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with seven consecutive losses for J.P. McCaskey and nine for Reading.

J.P. McCaskey lost 15-2 to Penn Manor on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Reading fell victim to Muhlenberg and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They came up short against the Muhls, falling 15-0.

J.P. McCaskey's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Reading, their loss dropped their record down to 2-9.

J.P. McCaskey got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in April of 2025 against Reading by a conclusive 15-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tornados since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
