Heard County put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They were the clear victors by a 54-28 margin over the Model Blue Devils. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Braves' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia football rankings (they are ranked 96th, while the Blue Devils are ranked 377th).

A big part of Heard County's victory came down to the chemistry between Ethan Tisdale and his top target Darience Coleman. Tisdale threw for 270 yards and two touchdowns while completing 84.2% of his passes while Coleman rushed for 79 yards and three scores on only seven carries. What's more, Tisdale racked up 159.4 passer rating, the most he's had since back in August. The team also got some help courtesy of Brody Buc Cofield, who picked up 42 receiving yards and a pair of TDs.

Special teams played a big role in the game for Heard County, adding 12 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Tripp Curbow, who ran a punt back for a touchdown.

One reason for the win was Heard County's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for seven sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Max Lasseter and Justin Hanson, who racked up five sacks between them.

Heard County's win bumped their record up to 9-0. As for Model, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.
