After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Clear Springs, Brazoswood was happy to have turned things around on Friday. Everything went their way against the Dickinson Gators as the Brazoswood Buccaneers made off with a 5-0 win. Considering the Buccaneers' offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Brazoswood's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2-1 and their overall record up to 6-5-2. As for Dickinson, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-8.

Brazoswood wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Deer Park on the 6th. As for Dickinson, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 5-2 defeat against Clear Springs on the 6th.
