Volleyball Recap: Teurlings Catholic Comes Up Short

Teurlings Catholic lost against Parkview Baptist back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Rebels took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles.

While Teurlings Catholic ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-18.

Olivia Hebert paced Teurlings Catholic's offense, picking up nine kills. Hebert got some help from Anna Claire Hebert and her 16 assists. Olivia was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Teurlings Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 12-5. As for Parkview Baptist, their victory bumped their record up to 6-4.

Teurlings Catholic wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against St. Mary's Dominican on the 26th. As for Parkview Baptist, they will head out on the road to square off against St. Joseph's Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Eagles are facing the Redstickers at the right time seeing as the Redstickers are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
