Basketball Recap: Boerne-Champion Takes a Loss

Boerne-Champion lost against Tivy back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Boerne-Champion Chargers fell 64-53 to the Tivy Antlers. While losing is never fun, the Chargers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 369th, while the Antlers are ranked 168th).

Boerne-Champion has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 16-17 record this season. As for Tivy, they pushed their record up to 19-11 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Boerne-Champion does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Tivy, they will head out to face off against Boerne at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Tivy has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
