Poly came tearing into Friday's contest with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Arlington Lions as they made off with a 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Poly took every set by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-15, 25-10.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Poly to victory, but perhaps none more so than Katelyn Brayton, who had five digs and two aces.

Poly's victory bumped their record up to 22-6. As for Arlington, their defeat was their seventh straight at home, which dropped their record down to 6-15.

Poly wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Rancho Christian on the 8th. As for Arlington, they have also already played their next match, a 3-1 defeat against Hillcrest on the 6th.
