Springfield won the last time they faced Waterloo and things went their way  on Thursday too. The Tigers put the hurt on the Vikings with a sharp  3-0 win.
 Springfield not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Waterloo between 16 and 19 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-16,  25-19.
 Baelyn Brungard paced Springfield's offense, picking up 18 kills. Brungard got some help from  Makenna Wymer and her 33 assists. Brungard was also solid from the service line:  she led the team with four aces.
Springfield is  on a roll lately: they've  won nine of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record  this season. As for Waterloo, they dropped their record down to 4-14 with the  defeat, which was their fifth straight  on the road.
 Coming up, Springfield will welcome Poland Seminary  at 7:00  p.m.  on Monday. As for Waterloo, they will head out to  challenge Mogadore  at 10:00  a.m.  on Saturday.
