Football Game Preview: Woodward-Granger Hawks vs. Grand View Christian Thunder

The Woodward-Granger Hawks will face off against the Grand View Christian Thunder on Friday. Woodward-Granger has given up an average of 27 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Woodward-Granger came up short against Van Meter on Friday, falling 40-20. The Hawks haven't had much luck with the Bulldogs recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Grand View Christian). They blew past Clarke 52-19 on Friday. Considering the Thunder have won three games by more than 22 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Having lost for the first time this season, Woodward-Granger fell to 3-1. As for Grand View Christian, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 3-1.

Everything came up roses for Woodward-Granger against Grand View Christian in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 52-7 win. Will the Hawks repeat their success, or do the Thunder have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
