Midlothian strolled into their game on Wednesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Hanover Hawks a 10-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Trojans, who have now won five games by six runs or more so far this season.

Bella Moussa was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. That's the most runs she has posted since back in May of 2024. Erin Fiege was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three runs, two RBI, and one double.

Midlothian was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .409. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .400 or higher in three consecutive matchups.

Midlothian pushed their record up to 13-0 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.8 runs on average over those games. As for Hanover, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Midlothian will welcome Clover Hill at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Trojans' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Cavaliers have averaged an impressive 9.1 runs per game this season. As for Hanover, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Mechanicsville at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Hawks are facing the Mustangs at the right time seeing as the Mustangs are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
