Volleyball Recap: East Fairmont Takes a Loss

East Fairmont was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Preston Knights. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in September.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-7.

Annie Musgrove paced East Fairmont's offense, picking up five kills. Musgrove got some help from Kyah Stump and her three assists.

East Fairmont's defeat dropped their record down to 2-36. As for Preston, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 15-25-1 record this season.

East Fairmont wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Washington on the 18th. As for Preston, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Hampshire on the 18th.
