Central Catholic extended their winning streak to five games thanks to a huge performance from Jayden Alexander. The Vikings took down the North Allegheny Tigers 21-6 on Friday thanks in part to Alexander, who rushed for 60 yards and one score on only seven carries. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 53 yards.

Central Catholic's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for North Allegheny, their loss was their first of the season and also makes their record 5-1.

Central Catholic and North Allegheny should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings. The Vikings (ranked third) will meet Shaler Area (ranked 244th) at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, North Allegheny will take on Mt. Lebanon at 7:30 p.m. on Friday with a big rank advantage (8 vs. 92).
