Football Recap: River Ridge Comes Up Short

After flying high against Ashton-Franklin Center last Friday, River Ridge came back down to earth. The Wildcats had to suffer through a 50-8 loss at the hands of the Polo Marcos. The defeat continues a trend for the Wildcats in their meetings with the Marcos: they've now lost five in a row.

River Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Polo, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. River Ridge will take on Harvest-Westminster at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Polo, they will challenge Hiawatha at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
