Pekin came tearing into Saturday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Bloomington Central Catholic Saints by a score of 7-4. Seven seems to be a good number for the Dragons as the team scooped up a win with the same number of runs in their previous game.

The team relied heavily on Taryn Didanato, who went 2-for-4 with one home run and four RBI. Kylea Siedell was another key player, scoring a run while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.

Pekin's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Bloomington Central Catholic, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 8-1.
