Recap: South Oak Cliff Bears vs. Wilson Wildcats
The South Oak Cliff Bears waltzed into their game Friday with two straight wins but they left with three. They walked away with a 58-50 victory over Wilson. That's another feather in the cap for South Oak Cliff, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Despite the loss, Wilson had strong showings from Michael Best, who scored 18 points along with three steals, and Wglen Rodriguez, who scored 13 points along with six rebounds. The match was Best's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Evan Deatherage, who scored six points.
South Oak Cliff is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 5-7 record this season. As for Wilson, they now have a losing record at 7-8.
