Soccer Game Preview: Gaffney vs. Dorman

Gaffney is 0-10 against Dorman since March of 2018 but things could change on Monday. The Indians will head out on the road to face off against the Cavaliers at 7:00 p.m. Gaffney has given up an average of 5.5 goals per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Gaffney is headed into Monday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 12th straight game on Thursday. They came up short against Boiling Springs, falling 10-4. Hayleigh Winkler probably wasn't too happy after the contest: she scored every single goal for Gaffney and still walked away on the losing team.

Meanwhile, Dorman unfortunately witnessed the end of their eight-game winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of James F. Byrnes by a score of 1-0. The game was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Dorman couldn't quite close it out.

Gaffney's loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Dorman, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-4-1.

Gaffney suffered a grim 9-0 defeat to Dorman in their previous matchup back in March. Can the Indians avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
