West Jefferson lost to Catholic Central back in January of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Wednesday. The West Jefferson Roughriders managed a 66-60 win over the Catholic Central Irish.

West Jefferson's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Austin Buescher, who almost dropped a double-double with 20 points and nine boards. Buescher is also on a roll when it comes to blocks, as he's now posted three or more in the last eight games he's played. Another player making a difference was Nick Fitzpatrick, who went 6-for-14 on his way to 13 points and six rebounds.

West Jefferson was working as a unit and finished the game with 23 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

West Jefferson's victory bumped their record up to 10-11. As for Catholic Central, their loss dropped their record down to 14-6.

Coming up, West Jefferson will head out to square off against Northeastern at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Northeastern's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five contests.
