Softball Recap: Ovid-Elsie Marauders vs. Alma Panthers
Ovid-Elsie blew Alma out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Thursday Alma got their revenge. The Marauders fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 9-7. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Marauders have suffered since May 22, 2025.
Audrie Vandeusen put in work while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out seven batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and seven unearned) runs off seven hits. Vandeusen was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. Those stolen bases marked the first that she has snagged this season.
