Recap: Keystone Wildcats vs. Western Reserve Roughriders

The Keystone Wildcats can finally bid farewell to their five-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Saturday. They took down Western Reserve 55-39. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Keystone has managed all season.

Keystone's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Logan Nagle led the charge by dropping a double-double on 15 points and ten rebounds. That's the first time this season that Nagle scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Grant Hartley, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds and five steals.

Keystone's win ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-3. As for Western Reserve, they now have a losing record at 1-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Keystone will face off against Black River at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Black River focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 on Friday. As for Western Reserve, they will head out on the road to face off against South Central at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
