Soccer Recap: Kecoughtan Comes Up Short

The home team had won the previous five meetings between Kecoughtan and Woodside, and Woodside kept the tradition alive. The Warriors came up short against the Wolverines on Monday, falling 4-0. If Kecoughtan were looking for revenge after losing 7-0 to Woodside when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Kecoughtan's defeat dropped their record down to 8-7-1. As for Woodside, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-6.

Looking ahead, Woodside will venture away from home to face off against Gloucester at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Woodside will need to watch out since Gloucester have now posted at least four goals in their last five games. Kecoughtan will be paying especially close attention to Woodside's contest: after Woodside faces off against Manor, they'll take on Kecoughtan again at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
