Northeast has gone a perfect 8-0 against Meade recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Eagles will host the Mustangs at 4:45 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Northeast is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Archbishop Spalding just ended the team's five-game winning streak on Thursday. They lost 9-3 to the Cavaliers.

Meanwhile, Meade fell victim to North County and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They came up short against the Knights, falling 15-0.

Meade's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Northeast, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-2.

Northeast got the 'W' in their previous matchup back in April of 2025 against Meade by a conclusive 11-0 score. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Mustangs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
