Sauk Rapids-Rice had already won nine in a row and they went ahead and made it ten on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Rocori Spartans. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 last Tuesday.

Sauk Rapids-Rice had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-20, 25-11, 25-14.

Josie Anderson paced Sauk Rapids-Rice's offense, picking up 14 kills. Anderson got some help from Aubrey Marketon and her 31 assists. Emma Sundby controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Sauk Rapids-Rice's victory bumped their record up to 15-1. As for Rocori, their loss dropped their record down to 11-9.

Looking ahead, Sauk Rapids-Rice will take on Sartell-St. Stephen at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Rocori, they will square off against St. Cloud Cathedral at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
