Softball Recap: St. Martin de Porres Takes a Loss

St. Martin de Porres was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Euclid Panthers, falling 10-0. Having soared to a lofty 15 runs in the game before, the Lions' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

St. Martin de Porres saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alisha Fluker, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base.

St. Martin de Porres' loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

Coming up, a feisty cat fight will be fought as St. Martin de Porres Lions challenge Our Lady of the Elms Panthers at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Euclid, they are taking a road trip to square off against Villa Angela-St. Joseph at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
