Softball Game Preview: Franklin Yellowjackets vs. Grant Pacers

The Franklin Yellowjackets will head out on the road to square off against the Grant Pacers at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Franklin will be strutting in after a win while Grant will be coming in after a loss.

Franklin's pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They put the hurt on River Islands with a sharp 12-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Yellowjackets.

The team relied heavily on Angelica Torres, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2. The team also got some help courtesy of Aliciana Young, who scored two runs and stole Two bases. while going 2-for-3.

Franklin was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .565. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .333 or higher every time they've taken the field this season.

Meanwhile, Grant was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against McNair, falling 27-11.

Franklin now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Grant, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.
