Baseball Recap: Lindhurst Gets the Win

While Lindhurst's win against Johnson wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Blazers won by a run and slipped past the Warriors 4-3.

Lindhurst saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gabe Jara, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs and one RBI. Those four hits gave Jara a new career-high.

Lindhurst was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .393. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Johnson only posted a batting average of .261.

Lindhurst's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-11. As for Johnson, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

Lindhurst didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 14-2 defeat against Grant on the 30th. As for Johnson, they have also already played their next matchup, an 18-1 loss against Kennedy on the 31st.
