It was a good run, but Wabeno/Laona unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Saturday. They were dealt an 80-47 defeat at the hands of the Regis Ramblers. While losing is never fun, the Rebels can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 316th, while the Ramblers are ranked 97th).

Wabeno/Laona's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Regis, their victory was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wabeno/Laona will face off against Elcho at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Regis, they will square off against Colfax at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
