Soccer Recap: Montgomery County Takes a Loss

Montgomery County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 5-0 to the Dooly County Bobcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Dooly County this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-2 back in March.

Montgomery County's loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Dooly County, they pushed their record up to 12-6 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

Coincidentally, Montgomery County and Dooly County will both be playing Hawkinsville the next time they take the pitch. The Eagles will host the Red Devils at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Bobcats will host them at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
