After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Naperville Central, West Aurora was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They came out on top against the Bartlett Hawks by a score of 12-7. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Blackhawks' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.

West Aurora's victory bumped their record up to 11-12. As for Bartlett, they now have a losing record of 8-9.

Coming up, West Aurora will square off against Aurora East at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bartlett, they will take on Larkin at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Hawks' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Royals have averaged an impressive 7.3 runs per game this season.
