Softball Recap: Edison Vikings vs. Sonora Wildcats
Edison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost an 11-9 heartbreaker at the hands of the Sonora Wildcats. The Vikings were not able to make up for their defeat to the Wildcats from their previous meeting back in March of 2020.

Leila Tatupu made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played. Naderah Ali was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.
