Basketball Recap: Henry Hudson Comes Up Short

Henry Hudson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 29-24 heartbreaker at the hands of the South Amboy Governors. The Admirals were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Governors apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.

Henry Hudson's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for South Amboy, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Henry Hudson will look to defend their home court on January 4, 2025 against University Academy Charter at 10:00 a.m. Henry Hudson is facing University Academy Charter at the right time seeing as University Academy Charter is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for South Amboy, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Mother Seton at 4:00 p.m. on January 6, 2025.
