Volleyball Recap: Bergan Catholic Comes Up Short

Bergan Catholic was the 2-0 winner over Conestoga when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Knights fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Peyton Langhorst paced Bergan Catholic's offense, picking up 16 kills. Langhorst got some help from Reagan Cansler and her 21 assists. Langhorst also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Tessa Powers, each putting up two.

Bergan Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 18-8. As for Conestoga, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 13 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season.

Bergan Catholic will take on Aquinas in a tournament on Thursday. As for Conestoga, they have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Louisville on the 4th.
