Soccer Recap: Penobscot Christian Drops Highest Score of Season Against Ashland

Penobscot Christian scored the most goals they've had this season on Wednesday, but it wasn't enough. They fell just short of the Ashland Hornets by a score of 3-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Ashland this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 back in September.

Penobscot Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Ashland, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-3-1.

Coincidentally, Penobscot Christian and Ashland will both be playing Van Buren the next time they take the pitch. Ashland will head out to face Van Buren at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while Penobscot Christian will host them at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
