Baseball Game Preview: North Caroline Bulldogs vs. Kent County Trojans

The North Caroline Bulldogs will venture away from home to square off against the Kent County Trojans at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

On Monday, North Caroline came up short against Caesar Rodney and fell 7-3. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Kent County scored the most runs they've had this season on Thursday, but it wasn't enough. They fell just short of Cambridge-South Dorchester by a score of 14-13. While the Trojans didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Vikings 5-1 in the first period.

North Caroline's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Kent County, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-5.

North Caroline took their victory against Kent County in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 12-2 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
