Soccer Recap: Islamic Foundation Takes a Loss

Islamic Foundation was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against the Peotone Blue Devils, falling 15-0. While losing is never fun, Islamic Foundation can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois soccer rankings (they are ranked 418th, while Peotone are ranked 195th).

Islamic Foundation's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Peotone, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 9-5-1.

Islamic Foundation has already played their next contest (against Chesterton Academy of the Holy Family), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Peotone, they have also already played their next match, a 6-5 defeat against Herscher on the 6th.
