Friday Harbor had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They came out on top against the Ilwaco Fishermen by a score of 6-3 on Saturday. Winning may never get old, but the Wolverines sure are getting used to it with their eighth in a row.

Jackson Feliz spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three earned runs on five hits and racked up six Ks. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in seven consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Marcos Soto, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Joseph Holt, who went 1-for-4 with two RBI and one run.

Friday Harbor's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-6. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Ilwaco, their loss ended a ten-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 18-4.

As of now, neither Friday Harbor nor the Fishermen have any future games scheduled.
