Baseball Recap: Melcher-Dallas Drops Highest Score of Season Against Moulton-Udell

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Melcher-Dallas). They put the hurt on the Moulton-Udell Eagles with a sharp 22-2 win on Friday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Saints considering their one-run performance the matchup before.

Melcher-Dallas' victory ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-6. As for Moulton-Udell, they dropped their record down to 1-6 with the defeat, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Melcher-Dallas wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 3-2 win against Twin Cedars on the 14th. Hopefully Moulton-Udell paid attention to the Saints' contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Saints at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
