Softball Recap: Hawthorne Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Hawthorne can now relate to. They came up short against the Chiefland Indians on Tuesday, falling 12-0. The Hornets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hawthorne's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6-1. As for Chiefland, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 7-16.

Hawthorne does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Chiefland, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 16-1 loss against Trenton on the 30th.
