Softball Preview: Bloomfield Bobcats vs. Kirtland Central Broncos        
        
		
            
 Bloomfield is 8-2 against Kirtland Central since May of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success  on Thursday. The Bloomfield Bobcats will be playing in front of their home fans against the Kirtland Central Broncos at 6:00  p.m. Bloomfield is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 8.2  runs per game  this season.
 Last Tuesday, Bloomfield came up short against Miyamura  and fell  12-8.
  Caitlin Zepeda made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  went 3-for-4 with a  home run and three  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Nevaeh Archuleta, who  got on base  in three of her four plate appearances with a  triple and a  run.
 Meanwhile, Kirtland Central came into Wednesday's   game having lost seven straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against Shiprock by a score of  9-4  on Wednesday.
 Bloomfield now  has a losing record at 10-11. As for Kirtland Central, their victory  ended  a  three-game drought on the road  and  puts them at 7-12.
 Bloomfield beat Kirtland Central 11-6  in their previous matchup  back in March. Will Bloomfield repeat their success,  or does  Kirtland Central have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
