Hart County came into their game  on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They were  outmatched by the Hebron Christian Lions and fell  54-10. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' Georgia football rankings (they are ranked 157th, while the Lions are ranked 26th).
 Hebron Christian's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Jarvis Mathurin, who picked up 141 receiving yards and two  TDs, and also rushed for 60 yards.  Devon Caldwell was another key back, rushing for 110 yards and three  touchdowns on only 12 carries.
Hart County's loss was  their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which  dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Hebron Christian, the  victory was  the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-1.
 Looking ahead, after each having a week off, Hart County and East Jackson will shake off the rust and duke it out  at 7:30  p.m.  on  the 17th. The Bulldogs will be up against the Eagles' rather soft defense (which has allowed 28.29  points per  matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Hebron Christian, they will challenge Stephens County at 7:30  p.m.  on  the 17th.
