For the second straight game, Arizona College Prep will face off against Chaparral. The Knights will host the Firebirds at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. Arizona College Prep is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.1 runs per game this season.

Arizona College Prep's pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They blew past Chaparral 8-0. The Knights might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by eight runs or more this season.

Not much got past Clayton Nachman, who gave up just five hits to keep Chaparral off the board.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Noah Kim, who scored two runs while going 1-for-2. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Ashton Sanchez, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Chaparral's defeat dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Arizona College Prep, their win bumped their record up to 12-5.
